    Brothers & Sisters, Steven Scott Beare is a Colorado police officer with the Littleton Police Department and a member of the FOP. Steven has gone missing during an expedition to climb Mt Elbrus. Mount Elbrus is the highest mountain in Russia, and the tenth most prominent peak in the world. Mt Elbrus is located in the Caucasus Mountains in Southern Russia, near the border with Georgia.

    There will be a benefit held for injured Police Officer Jared Scheel on Monday, July 10th, 2017 between 5pm-7pm, at Bartolino’s Osteria located at 2103 Sulphur Avenue.    Jared was injured in the line of duty in 2013.  After many different doctors and surgeries, he is unable to return back to duty.

    Carolina Recreation Center and Park in the Lower Valley was renamed to 'Officer David Ortiz Park' on Wednesday (June 14, 2017). City Council Representative Lily Limón and the City of El Paso Parks Department hosted the ceremony early Wednesday morning. Officer Ortiz graduated from Ysleta High School in 1989.

Officer Dyess served the El Paso community as a peace officer for 20+ years.  He joined the El Paso Police Department in June of 1973 and retired on December 10, 1993.

    An off-duty Border Patrol agent stabbed outside a far east El Paso bar has died, police said. Isaac Morales, 30, was leaving a bar early Saturday when he was confronted by 39-year-old Hisaias Justo Lopez, who is accused of stabbing Morales to death with a knife. KFOX 14 Update:  A GoFundMe account has been set up for the family of Border Patrol Agent Isaac Morales.

    394 Fallen Officers Honored During DC's Police Week Vigil

    The 29th Annual Candlelight Vigil at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial honored 394 officers who have died in the line of duty. U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Department of Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly spoke at the event and lead the crowd in the candle lighting. "We mourn these fallen officers. We cannot avoid this dark truth," Sessions said.

    An El Paso police officer shot a man who allegedly took out a handgun during a traffic stop late Wednesday in the Northeast, a police spokesman said. The wounded man was taken to University Medical Center of El Paso. His condition was unknown. The shooting occurred soon after 11:40 p.m.

Officer Adrian Arellano, 39, was killed when his police motorcycle was hit by a car while working off-duty escorting a funeral procession on March 18, 2015.

    A local law enforcement leader is dead after being shot behind the Baytown courthouse about 7 a.m. Monday, police said. The suspected shooter remains at large, leading to a lockdown in the area. Clint Greenwood, assistant chief deputy with the Harris County Precinct 3 Constable's Office, was arriving to work when someone opened fire on him.
